Travel Team Tryout Update
Due to the current Stay-At-Home order and the expectation of continued Red Phase and Yellow Phase restrictions in the weeks to come, the club has decided to forgo travel team tryouts for the 2020-21 season. As always the safety of our players and volunteers is our main concern and for that reason tryouts are not possible at this time.
We are currently working to build rosters for the upcoming season and need all athletes interested in playing to register immediately. WITHOUT A TRYOUT REGISTRATION YOUR ATHLETE CAN NOT PLAY IN THE UPCOMING SEASON. The deadline to register is May 31st. Registration is free and does not constitute a commitment to play on your player's part, merely an interest in participation.
First preference on all teams will be given to returning players and we will try to accommodate all new players the best we can. Once rosters have been finalized our travel Director, Stu Reeves will reach out to your family via phone/email with information on how to register your athlete for the upcoming season. Please allow 2-3 weeks for roster finalization.
In the meantime please have your player practice as much as possible and stay safe.
Once again, if your child is interested in playing on a travel team for the 2020-21 season we encourage you to register them as soon as possible. We wish you continued health during this difficult time and our thoughts and prayers are with those battling this virus.
Where Ridley’s Soccer Lovers Come to Play
Ridley United's Intramural program encompasses over 500 members from various areas of Delaware County. Age groups range from 5 to 14. Older children can participate as volunteers and referees. We offer both Spring and Fall programs.
Ridley United's TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) offers soccer to individuals who possess the desire to participate, though their physical and/or mental challenges may not allow them to play on traditional intramural teams.
