Spring Season Update
Based on the current advice from federal, state and regional authorities calling for a complete suspension of all organized soccer activities through April 30, 2020, Ridley United has decided to cancel the Spring Intramural, Little Tykes, and TOPSoccer seasons. Full refunds will be forthcoming.
All Travel seasons are currently suspended by their leagues with the possibility of rescheduled games being played when the current crisis abates. Travel Team Tryouts, originally scheduled to begin in the last week of April have been postponed. Tryouts are currently planned to begin shortly after organized soccer activities are safe to resume, with that date to be decided by the Club Board of Directors.
We at Ridley United encourage all of our players and their families to respect the stay-at-home order issued by Governor Wolf and the social distancing guidelines issued by the CDC. We also encourage our players, if they have the time and the space, to spend a few minutes each day getting some physical exercise. Be creative and find safe and solitary ways to play.
We wish you all continued health and share our thoughts and prayers with those currently battling this virus.
Where Ridley’s Soccer Lovers Come to Play
Ridley United's Intramural program encompasses over 500 members from various areas of Delaware County. Age groups range from 5 to 14. Older children can participate as volunteers and referees. We offer both Spring and Fall programs.
Ridley United's TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) offers soccer to individuals who possess the desire to participate, though their physical and/or mental challenges may not allow them to play on traditional intramural teams.
